End Your Worries: Natural Remedies for Anxiety

Agree? Of course you will. Don’t make yourself miserable by worrying too much. Life is too short. Why spend your time worrying on things that are not going to happen. If you can’t control your nerves, then it is best for you to consider these natural remedies for anxiety.
Anxiety or worrying is normal when we are under pressure. In fact it can help us to focus, solve problems, and stay alert. However, if you are always anxious that it affects your daily routine and relationships with other people, then this is beyond normal. If you can’t even go to work or school, you are constantly tense, and have a feeling that a catastrophe may happen anytime, then you are not acting normal anymore.
Natural Remedies for Anxiety:
- If you have a sweet tooth, then get rid of it. Too much intake of sugar can cause both depression and anxiety. It can give you a sudden boost of energy which leads to extreme fatigue after. Also avoid smoking, drinking coffee, sodas and alcoholic beverages.
- Sit with your feet elevated while sipping a cup of tea. Teas that are good for anxiety are Sage, Peppermint, and Chamomile. Sage Tea is good for your jitters, and can also boost your memory. Drink 3 cups of this tea every day. While Peppermint Tea is a good relief for moodiness. While Chamomile Tea has a very good soothing and calming effect.
- Another natural remedy for anxiety is the mixture of Onion and Honey. Chop a large onion finely and add a tablespoon of Honey. Take half of the mixture during lunch and the other half for dinner. Onion contains prostaglandin which is known to have a stress relieving effect.
- Eat raw strawberries without any cream or chocolate dip and you will feel better. As simple as that.
- Kombu seaweed tea is a potent nerve tonic that is also known to be a good natural anxiety relief. Mix 3 inch strip of Kombu to 1 quart of water and boil it for 10 minutes. Take ½ cup of the prepared tea all throughout the day.
