Pre-warm the pack but do not use a heating pad if you feel gaseous. Remember to take one tsp (teaspoon) of olive oil each evening of the pack
After the colonic irrigation here are the things that you should be reminded of:
–Drink ample amount of water to flush out the remaining toxins.
–Still, avoid gas forming foods (examples mentioned earlier) for two days.
–To maintain the balance of flora in your bowel eat yogurt with acidophilus/bifidus cultures or acidophilus capsule or liquid for couple of days.
– Avoid eating meat for 8-12 hours after the procedure, chicken and fish are best.
–Eat low mucuid-forming foods.
–On that same day avoid strenuous exercise.
–Expect your normal bowel movement to happen usually within 1-3 days after colonic.
